for my taste blackwood ist a little smal, i think a 3x3 grid would be more suitable for SP, but than the grid system has to work 100%.
thats why i still play on blackwood
If you dont spend a ton of time in a game, Blackwood imo would be my pick, Can learn the game mechanics and learn how to sail and fight from a ship and all that, can build a fancy town and dont have to go far for well.. anything really. Meet the creatures in the game for the first time and figure out how to fight them best.. all that stuff.
I only use Blackwood as my SP admin playground, use cheats to do everthing on it.. and I make my actual gameplay over on the bigger Ocean map to explore and get into things a bit more legit like..
Exaggerating on times there :P now I want to log in and see actual sail time in a ramshackle sloop to go from ne corner to sw corner of blackwood.. dangit. lol
I have wiped my Blackwood map several times since it came out, I usually make a mess of the landscape while messing around with building and other stuff and find something else to get into so wipe it and start over to give it a try.. for fun. lol
