How to get Ultimate Emperor

I keep getting rushed by a huge army including 2 dragons at the start of the game.
Anyone have a suggestion how to get this achievement?

Second this, not sure what to do

edit: Just got it

Played on the second biggest map, quickly developed two armies of axe throwers (playing as the hero who gains 3 axe throwers per circle)

I swept the map up as quickly as I could with these two armies until I met the enemy kingdom, then I tried to pick away and capture areas where they had no military, then I filled the far away safe circles with workers and began resource hunting

Lost one army to the enemy kingdom but built more, then eventually had them isolated in one circle

Walled that circle in from all sides (they had 8 dragons and about 20 wizards among many other troops) waited for my resources to stock up, built fire towers on all the circles surrounding the entrapped empire, spammed as many ranged units on all sides as I could and when the moment was right, struck hard and fast and wiped them from the game

that is pretty time consuming and a bit technical my strat was to use the adventurer and restart until I got lucky
