Well sadly i'm starting to feel the same way , this game could have been amazing if they had worked on the fish fights and a few other things.... oh well.
Yep i bought every DLC for euro and 4 for this game ,and i probably would have bought more but not now.
I been with them since euro fishing and now have such depression of how they have updated their games. :( Couldn't they pull in the old game into the new game with out buying everything again? I am so depressed of their marketing philosophy,
There is another game being made and look promising as the developer do care more about it!
Heh +1
Eurofishing was never complete we supported them got excited about new features and then a sudden dramatic change of development. The fishing game had moved into a total new direction and a new game from dovetail came out.
Their monster fish new game won't be any different to the game you are playing right now cause they should be working on the fish and other bugs. There are no new features for the new game maybe if they learnt from the beginning and made a whole new fishing game then we would be excited. Maybe flowing water but is that the reason for a whole a new game? Why couldn't it be in the previous games?
The dev has never came on and actually discuss this with us and we still do not know why??? Even with their new game there is no discussion at all from the developer on the issues?

However there is a developer you can trust and that is Ultimate Fishing 2! More replies and they listen and that is what we wanted!
Euro fishing had a good fishing system if they stuck with that and built on it the game would be so awesome today but they did not. :( They had live fish and why couldn't they improve on it and stuck to what matters most?
They just went to what other fishing games did like tourmanets and more maps with out improving the base and bugs that came with it. :(
I can go to other previous games and see their sequel its always complete and player are happy. A sequel is normally done cause the previous game cannot include the new features like graphics and engine and different code.
We will weclome the new game if they are redoing everything and learnt from the past we would all be excited! But this is not going to happen at all the developer do not mind if past veteran supporter get left out. :(
So this is not a sequel at all and we still want to know why??????????????
Well we dont want to sink to the level of yearly Cod and ACs now dont we? ;)
See this is where i don't understand the argument. We all know Far Cry series is far from bug free. So the explanation is hard to understand.
So who makes the rules on how much time is spent on a game chasing bugs? I would guess people would say ...as much time as it takes to get it right...but that isn't the real world. It especially isn't the real world when it comes to coding, and money to pay a development team.
I always see this argument which usually leads to the same conclusion with people saying "i will never buy from said studio again!!!" BUT YET i play the exact same games and never have any problems or very very few.
So is it the game or the hardware? Why does my system never seem to reproduce the complaints i see on steam? I'd bet alot of the "problems" are because of brand name PCs like Dell, HP, Gateway since most people buy name brand items cuz they don't build their own. If you're a mass producer you mass produce cheap parts which equals inferior standards. Laptops, even worse.
I'd bet big money that a sidebyside PC comparison of a name brand pc like Dell, with all dell hardware except for a good video card would run more buggy than a similar priced handbuilt Asus, GB, or MSI based system. And i'd bet this because all my friends that play this game all have homebuilt PCs and none of them have problems with this or any other games. But most people don't want to admit they may have pc problems since their system is new and can play Crysis 7 on super ultra ect... Just an opinion. But i think the PC companies are just selling cheap crap.
Each version of Farcry was fully optimized and updated .
For fishing sim world its not the case , we never saw real updates , only dlc , the lines behave badly and are so fick and not smooth , the rods do not even bend and the fight fishing is weird ,unrealistic and the same for all the differents fish species , we never saw any updates of those basic features , this game for now is not finished , and all the work they have done since very long (i guest they should have done some work for theis living) is for doing a new version .
They have never fixed the problem of textures reflexions who is flashing on the water edges , no any other fishing game has that issue .
Fishing & Hunting games are different. The best ones out there build a good baseline and continously support with content. (ie theHunter Classic & TheHunter Call of the Wild). Dovetail seems to have taken this game, which had so much potential, and abandoned it with no communication at all to the community. Couldn't help but notice that the new game has zero American venues either, and no bass fishing. The cynic in me thinks this is not coincidence.
