American catfish (And bobber fishing!)
One of my biggest topics i want to ask for the game is the introduction of american catfish species. These include, the channel catfish the blue catfish and the flathead catfish.

Blue Catfish

The blue catfish is one of the largest north american fish, They can grow up to 120 pounds and sit like a log so you wont get much of a fight out of them. But it will be a struggle

Channel catfish

Channel catfish are the smallest of the north american species rarely get up to 60 pounds, they have different color patterns throughout their lives At a young age they will be a light yellowish brown with spots but when they get older they will get a thick whitish blue coloration they may only be 20 to 40 pounds but they will pull like they are over 80. They occasionally will bite a lure but are more prone to bait.

Flathead catfish

Flathead catfish are the largest north american catfish. These monsters can grow upwards of 120-140 pounds but you can find smaller ones. They are originally from central america like Mexico and Columbia but were moved north because of invading Asian carp. They never bite lures and just kind of sit at the bottom. They are extremely lazy so be patient when hooking one as it could take a while. They are most active at late and early hours between 8:00 P.M. and 6:30 A.M. So don't expect an afternoon bite.

Bobber fishing

Bobber fishing is most popular for smaller fish such as bluegill and crappie but is also used for bass and gar. Unlike the bobbers currently in the game the north american bobbers are round and have hooks on line separated through two holes from the bobber. They can also come in different shapes such as Pear shaped, Chute shaped, And Cork shaped. They are one of the most customizable fishing items so good luck chosing yours!

Anyway that concludes my discussion if you have ideas share in the comments

+1 Definitely :)
I believe Dovetail Games indicated they were working on bringing American catfish and bait bobber fishing to the game (with cutbait, etc.).

Would be a HUGE hit in the United States. $$$

+1.
For now, I only have the game in its Deluxe version. I did not buy any new Lake DLC because I think there is a lot of detail to be improved before I put more money into this game. Interest I have, no doubt. Anything added is a breakthrough and an incentive. I already recommend this game to anyone I can, but I make reservations about the details that bother me. Having new fish, including in the lakes of the base game, would be quite attractive.

Don't be fooled - this guy caught a minnow. These flatheads get huge - like 100+ lb. And they fight like absolutely monsters.

Glad to hear they are working on it. This is really one of the biggest things to me that is missing in the game as is.
