Non-bosses will only show "personal record" when it's a bigger non-boss than you already have caught. Those records are only your own personal records and doesn't reflect what anybody else have caught. Also note some non-bosses are bigger than some bosses as well. For example Waldsee have some bigger non-boss carp than some of the boss carp.
There is no way to see how you stack up against others when it comes to biggest caught in the lake. That you will have to verbally share with your friends. Once both you and your friend caught the biggest boss then both of you have caught the biggest fish in the lake that will be the exact same size. All named bosses are the same size for everyone.
If you want to compete with your friends on biggest catch per lake you will have to
1. Keep your own manual document for it and
2. Only track the non-bosses ( the fish that don't have names ) otherwise your competition will be over as soon as you both have caught the biggest named fish.
