Any tips for fish other than Bass?

I am pretty good at catching bass , but i could be better with it. I havent caught any other type of fish yet though :/ anyone know any good set ups for catfish or any other type of fish? :)

you could try for carp, if you do try gigantica great spots there for plenty of trophy fish if you like click on my name view profile and have a look at my screen shots of the carp etc

Do you mean other species on American lakes?

i like the american fishing but any other type is fine lol all ive caught so far is large mouth, small mouth, and spotted bass. a cat fish or a gar every once in a while would be nice! or anything, ive tried to make other set ups but not luck on them.

I haven't done much Pred / Bass fishing since the update, but Pike used to go wild for topwater lures + spinner baits + I think they said something about Crawfish lures for Chanel Catfish in a recent stream.

pike love the 6 inch gold shad have caught heaps with this set up everywhere

i caught 2 chanel catfish on a fake roach by accident and i caught a bunch of carp with sweet corn, so im expanding but all by trial and error lol

I've had a few other species from the US lakes before the update; Walleye on deep diving lures in deeper water away from the shore, a Muskie on a midwater lure and some Pickeral on surface lures.

anyone else notice have this problem with career mode, i do amazing with 3 of the events and the other 2 I cant catch a fish, its been like that pattern for about 3 seasons / anyone else have that problem?

Just had a nice 8 lb 5 oz Brown Trout from Johnsons in 100 ft of water, my first trout from this game.

I have had a lot of luck with the little Echo lures. lots of trout, crappie and perch. occasional pike as well. Good luck!

Thanks for the lure tip, I tried an echo and had PB Rainbow and Brownie.
