I understand. The Geraki already comes with capable gear, so it's not too hard to add a few items to make improve it. But I'm considering other options and maybe a way to allow other ships instead of the Geraki to complete the quest.
I did the entire New Quest, and it's Great- I was really Looking forward to the Geraki, and Equipped it all out, used it as intended for the Quest, and kept it by choosing Scoundrel
But I'm going to retry the Quest at Least 2 more times soon- One with a Bad Boy and get Scoundrel, One with a Titan to get Lone Wolf and the Consortium AI (I've had the Lone Wolf Perk for over a Year, but want to see the Quest End for it and get the New AI Item)
So for my Personal 'Planning' Notes I had already reminded myself to "Save first, might have to Park my Main Ship if the Geraki is needed to Finish the Quest"- Looks Like my suspicions were correct- I'll see what happens with the Bad Boy and the Titan, but yeah, doing a Save beforehand is a good Safety Plan
The Equipment Pre-Installed on the Geraki is actually Very Good btw Laious- 2 Green Tier Large Fusion Reactors are plenty to Power it, and easy to upgrade with Improved Kits and Relics by the time you get to the end of the Quest- All the other Equipment is a Nice Bonus
as well that you can either keep on the Geraki or distribute to other Ships- I Craft all my Weapons, so I didn't use the Heavy Lasers, but for a Brand New Player, and even comparing
to Crafted Weapons, those 2 Blue Tier Heavy Green Core Lasers are Solid Armaments for
the Geraki if you have to use them
I also had better Equipment for 90% of the Geraki Slots when I got to the end of the Quest-
I was Level 34 and had been massively sidetracked because I Unlocked the Hephaestus and took a Big 'Right Turn' into a Cluster of High Level Sectors to Train Crew, get Equipment,
Craft Weapons, and get Extra Credits- So the end of the Quest was a Little Easier than it was probably Intended to be, but still really Fun- The Next Time I do the Quest I'm going to be more Focused, should only be around Levels 22-27
I think the entirety of the Quest, added on to the Established Tutorial,
was Well Done and released nicely- Another Good Job Laious
(I just WANT that Purple Technomancer Ship at some point-
I'll be Patient, you've hinted it might be available in the future
