While I recall your mentioning an intention to add mining to the list of activities fleet ships can do to advance Fleet Commander - meaning that those 'procure X material' contracts would technically be a means to that end - I am now curious as to what other activities you might be considering in that vein. For example, while it is not the case currently, an argument can be made for repairs also counting for this...
On the subject of things to change... I would again suggest color-coding quest arrows/pings. Well, expanding this (the 'visit four unexplored sectors' mission most background can pick up from the beginning has a blue arrow/ping). You can have situations where you're warping into a sector to deliver a package, and one or more distress beacons happen to pop up - it is possible (particularly if it's a new sector) to flub the delivery by picking the wrong beacon to follow. The specific colors could be customizable from the options menu (which would incidentally address most forms of colorblindness).
Fleet Commander improving when you fleet mines is already implemented in the Beta version and is coming with next update :)
Sounds good. I'd also like to see some changes to fleet commander, if im not wrong, currently the only way to get a fleet of ships is leveling fleet commander which means you gotta kill enemies with a fleet. So if I want to do a mining fleet play though I have to start out killing basically
wow that is exactly what I figured too. There are Gold star missions I cant access because Im not Space Pilot 31. So what Ive had to do is fly around with that item that boost experience for flying solo. Its not fun being forced to play a certain way just to get access to these missions.
