Goes also to the station for storage, not where the construction material is to storage.
higher end Trading Goods and Nice Found or Mined Metals with High Profit Values
Silver however, does pop up fairly frequently as a Requested Item for Station Missions-
I usually always have 3 Silver, 3 Bismuth, 3 Cobalt, and 3 Gallium stocked on a Ship for
when those Missions come up
Iridum with Titanium is used for Ardonian Components, Silicon with Cobalt is used
for Superior Components, and Lithium with Aluminium is used for Fine Components
Bismuth can also be used for Heatsink Boosters in Crafting Weapons,
Copper for Critical Boosters, and Nickel for Speed and Range Boosters
So if I'm Crafting Weapons, I usually prefer to be at a PMC Mining Station where all those items, Bismuth, Copper, Nickel, are there, also usually with Explosives for Missiles, so I'm not hunting for say Nickel, at another Station because I'm wanting to add Range to a Weapon
thank you for the infos :)
yeah PMC stations are the best for crafting, they got all the things , Aluminium is used a lot to craft ships , i am into the Tinhead rabbit hole to get BPOs for ships and is used on all of them
note for the dev :
the cost in materials to craft ships is a bit high i think ,
for example : the cost in resources to craft a Speeder is much more than just buy one ... kind of weird ... i think these recipes should be rebalance some how ... at least for the basic ships , i am okay to "pay" much more in materials for higher/rare tier ships ...
a Lot of Good Ship Options- Theseus, Bonde, Syndicate Marco- Many "Combat" Ships that have big Cargo Holds Like the Rebel Archemides or the Independent Beetle, Lots of others
My Personal Favorite Trader Fleet is to Start with 3 Haulers, then get 3 PMC Mules, then
3 PMC Donkeys- all with Fighter Escorts- Seagulls in my case as the Ship Colors match up nicely- PMC Ships are marketed as "Mining Ships" and they can do very well in that Role, but for the way the Guns are spread out, and the Cargo Storage, Mules and Donkeys are Excellent- I Look at the Donkey as Mainly just a Great Cargo Hauler, but then you get jumped by
Red Skull Hunter Fleets and you realize "Oh Yeah, the Donkey is an actual CRUISER" and has all these powerful weapons I placed on it, and it's just SHREDDING Fighter Craft and Big Ships
low rank and small ship should be cheaper , to many base components are needed for things like a Speeder + the recipe demand quiet a lot of aluminium , which is not super common
to be honest for now i just farm the "best/rare" blueprints, i plan to craft just a few ships eventually on late game
so said i never fit a pure mining ship like a frigate or bigger , i can believe with mining drones and lots of mining lasers you can be pretty fast on harvesting the materials
also i dont know if mining in lower level sectors change the odds on better metals, probably not , i can see myself wiping out asteroids fields in the low level sectors ...
we need a ship like an "Orca" (from Eve Online) that can store/compress/refine a lot of resources and provide support to mining fleets
It takes 10x the resources to build a dread as it does a yacht. But it costs 100x the price to buy one.
something need to be re-balance for sure ...
anyway i am happy to have access to ship blueprints, its a good step in the right direction ...
Venghi want to be for weapons, and COT ships, or vice versa from COT certain modules and Venghi ships.
Cost for class 6 only in order for that of Venghi and COT, which cannot be bought.

You have a score a lot of money , play it only to unlock all new ships for new start.
But you know so many sectors and therefore no new ships for known sectors that it can take time to find new sectors that have these ships.
"Tinhead Workshop get more plans also in known sectors as they are quests.
Also has so much building material, not much is missing so you harvest some more and build everything you need.
Found the new class 6 Prometheus as a blueprint at "Tinhead Workshop" earlier than looking for new sectors that have the ship at some station, just visit all the "Tinhead Workshop" I marked on the galaxy map.
"Tinhead Workshop" and Start sector and few other very important sectors marked with pink, for easy finding again, and each with text what is in this sector because I use the colour for more.
Otherwise, the primary colour used is grey, as I mark all explored sectors in which there is nothing important for me in grey with the text "Known". ( Every other colour then stands out. )
