Blue / Red / Green crystals - what is their use?

Should I be hoarding these for crafting or something? I have no recipes that use them yet at like lvl 12.

They're useful for custom energy weapons, and in crafting crystal chambers; a rarer crafting ingredient for certain high-level weapons, like the venghi blasters.

I guess what I'm asking more is, if I'm sitting on around 130 blue crystals at lvl 12 - should I be fine to offload some for cash at this point?

Oh yea, almost certainly. I custom-craft most of my weapons, and I don't think I've used 100+ of a single type of crystal throughout an entire save. And they aren't too hard to get more of.

Can you actually craft those Venghi blasters ? ..

Can you get the blueprint by scrapping them or by running their missions .. or both ?

You can craft them. Every single weapon/equipment can be scrapped to learn its blueprint, if you get 2 of them.

Never scrapped the Venghi blasters because i can never really find more then 3-4 of them because I end up using them,

a lot of missions at stations ask for you to deliver crystals to them, so if you got a lot of extra ones piling up just use them to insta complete some stations missions, better than just selling them.
