Ship Blueprints/craft?

So how do you get ship blueprints? New to the game and not seeing a scrap option like with equipment.

there are no ship blueprints, you just buy and sell ships at stations

well actually thats not quite true. the venghi and terra factions reward u with a single blueprint for joining their respective sides

So the ship section in the crafting is just there for those two ships only?

Or you can mod your game to add them in. Take a look at a post by me in the Modding subforum if you want to go that route. There is code for generating random ship blueprints, so I suspect they will eventually be added to the game, but probably need some tweaks/balance because it's currently a little overpowered. I'd love to see the scrapping to blueprint mechanism be applied to ships, rather than purchasing/finding them, though. That would feel more in-line with the game's power progression.
