Nodolo and Sweeper drives

you dont need to go to a sector LvL 50 to get m ;)
hint: civillian sectors and maybe you need a trading computer in purple ;) good luck

Woh, trading comps have impact on station equipment list? I feel silly now, been keeping my Trade Comp 3 at blue for a while now!

Trading comps do have an *impact* on the Station (inventory) ?? O.o
What's the logic behind that??
Wasn't the Station inventory not based on Galaxy Seed (and former just RNG) ??

(though good to know!! I do think we need a "Tips and Tricks" Section somewhere where stuff like that is saved!!)

That is a mistake, actually. Station markets have nothing to do with the player character or ship gear at all :)

What you want is sectors/stations with a similar level of the item (item level) you are looking for.

yes, the asteroid scanner shows you more INFO as it get a higher rarity and level, but the YIELD will not change just because you have equipped a higher version of the scanner. That depends on your GEOLOGY RANGE!

and with the trading computer.... Laious just confirmed it does NOT change or modify Station inventory at all. It's just price and info.

What level is the gear for Nodolo and Sweeper? Level 45 and yet to come across a single one. Do I need to be intentional targeting lower level stations? Driving me nuts.

Oh, if you are specifically looking for Nodolo's, it's drop only (silver star +). Sorry I could've said before.
Sweeper Drive you can find in stations around level 25, but it's very rare. More likely to find as drop on silver star + as well, or quest reward.

The only tip I have is to forget about them and if one drops then take it as a win.

I am farming maybe sixty gold star lvl 57/58 enemies an hour.
I have 101 orange bits of gear. Most of them doing what I am doing now.
Out of all those:
I have one orange, two purple and two blue optronic computers.
I have nine orange capital pulse lasers.
But..........
I have ONE nodolo combat mod and that wasn't even orange.
They are several orders of magnitude beyond rare. Deliberately farming for one will probably see you rage quit before you see one.
