Question about the music...

This game has good music. I'll be the first to admit. But what's with that, one, sad, track... you know, the one that makes you feel depressed... does anyone know which one I'm talking about? It's a good tune if it was in a fitting atmosphere, no dis to the artist... but I don't think it fit's in this game. Maybe as an end to your hardcore game, but.. IDK. What do you think?

So you would need a menu, which music you want to listen to where, or which you don't want to hear at all.

Then it could stay with me as it is, and others can switch off one or the other or choose where they should be.

The "sad" songs are played in dark sectors to give a different mood. Is it any of the dark sector songs you are referring to?
Anyway, it is all from different artists.

Dark sector songs are usually more ominous and menacing. I don't know where it's from as I'm not in game right now.

Are you talking about the one with a few piano keystrokes and a violin? That's actually my favorite one lol. IMO, it fits fine with the space motif.

yes! It's not a dark sector song either. It's funny how one persons favorite makes another sad lol. It's a beautiful song though.. *sniff*

In my review, it is emphasized that there are different pieces of music, depending on the sector, not just how some games have one for everything.

But nobody can read my review anyway because it is German.

I think this music is from some pack or at least from an open artist since I heard couple of those tracks before in other games...

Yeah, tastes and all that...

Though, I agree it evokes a sad/depressive feeling. Which is partly why I like it so much. I've been playing on Hardcore since I got the game recently... I literally end up running away from everything and stick to easy stuff; like mining. So, when I'm not being chased, having that "sad tune" playing feels appropriate. I'm just some nobody flying around in a cardboard ship lol. Plus I like looking at the backdrops, some are quite pretty; I think that tune adds nice ambiance for that as well.

Such a great game, from mechanics to graphics and music! Been looking for a game similar to SPAZ, finally found one.
