Where is lithium?

I've done a lot of mining and haven't seen lithium for a couple of quests. Does it drop from mining or sold from some stations?

you have to have a certain geology level to mine lithium, but i dont remember off hand what that is or which asteroids you can mine it from. you can by it from stations, but until you go to that station, your trader codex (assuming you have one 2.0 or above) will not list it.

I'm Geology 24 and have Trader Codex 2.0. I've seen lithium listed but always 0 quantity. Oh, I see Geology goes up to level 48 at least. Guess I have to mine much more. Thanks for your help.

For next patch, Lithium will be blue tier and will not be asked in quests anymore :)

Thanks Laious. For anyone else, Lithium drops from blue asteroids at Geology 29. Went through an asteroid field and got 1 lithium...for 4 quests, lol.

Tip: Save it, as it will be used to buy/do stuff later on ;)

should i spare them also my stash of " acient relecs for crafting receipe or can i sel thoose without any doubt at the station?

Well I suppose you can sell it to a "safe" station if you find one that buys it :)
