Children of Terra Relations

Could someone plz tell me what things prevent you from becoming honoured with the Children of Terra. I have the relations at 2999 but it wont go any higher. I am alied to both the PMC and Syndicate, could that be it?

You have one other Perk that prevents you from becoming honored with the CoT. Probably 'Lone wolf' or 'White Collar'

Hey so I have the same issue, I made big sales and didn't expect to be locked out of other factions for it... it's a bit of a weird perk. I don't understand the logic of it, it's a game where you should want to make huge sales, not be wary of it, in my opinion.
Is there a way to still get honored with CoT or is my 40h save ruined?

Your save isn't ruined. You're just locked out of becoming Allied with CoT. It isn't so bad, unless you wanted their high-end ships. But the other Perks you have should make up for it.

You choose paths when you play this game, and you were asked if you wanted to become "White Collar," and you said 'yes.' You can make all the sales you want, just don't say yes to a path you don't want.

That said, Laious should add a warning explaining what you're getting into when those choices arise, otherwise topics like this will keep coming up.

Oh I see, well I don't remember that I did chose it, maybe I didn't read carefully... but as I started as a miner, I made a lot of money rather quickly, and I guess I did not know what I was doing... oh well. Yeah for a while I was aiming at getting allied with Cot only to get stuck at 2999 rep, I tought I had to get hostile with the aliens first so I did, and then I came on the forum to check^^
Yeah a warning should come in handy in that situation.
Anyway it's a great game I'm having a blast!

It wouldn't be such a bad idea to add a way to atone to the opposing faction either.....

You can atone in a way, by destroying their enemies.
