How does saving work in the game?

There are three types of save options:

Auto-save: Occurs approximately every 5 minutes or after significant achievements.

Quick Save: Accessible via a keyboard shortcut or controller D-pad.

Manual Save: Available through the in-game menu.

You have 20 slots for manual saves and 20 slots for auto-saves. Auto-saves will never overwrite your manual saves. You can delete or overwrite any save at any time.

What is the Hotspot Highlight feature?

You can highlight interactive hotspots in a scene by pressing a specific key on the keyboard or both mouse buttons simultaneously. This feature helps you easily identify all objects or areas you can interact with.

Can I skip dialogues and cutscenes?

You can skip all cinematics, and most dialogues and cutscenes can also be skipped.

Can I revisit past conversations?

Yes, if you need to revisit any conversation, the dialogue log is available for review.

Is there a fast movement and teleport feature?

You can instantly teleport to the next scene by double-clicking on the scene's exit. In addition, when the main character is outdoors, she can run.

Is the game optimized for both keyboard/mouse and controller?

Whether you prefer keyboard/mouse or a controller, the game’s point-and-click mechanics are optimized to work wonderfully with both.

Where can I find my saved games?

The save files are located at the following paths:

Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\[UserID]\832500\remote

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/[UserID]/832500/remote

Linux: ~/.local/share/Steam/userdata/[UserID]/832500/remote

What will the price be on the game?

basic functionality

no demo, not much info on the store page, just the usual marketing fluff with not a single screenshot showing actual gameplay with a ui, so gotta ask (yes, I skimmed the gameplay video, wasn't much help):

- saving manually anytime, over multiple slots?

- hotspot indicator? (icon to click, hotkey and middle mouse button to reveal everything that can be interacted with)

- manual/auto advance dialog option?

- double-click to move faster and exit locations instantly?

- how are mouse controls in general? it's ap&c adventure, should be 100% mouseable but also have hotkeys. wheel and an icon to click to bring up/hide inventory, right click to drop held item, etc.

Each replay is a gateway to uncovering thrilling mysteries, hidden Easter eggs and references, and even the possibility of encountering new characters.

this sounds worse than you think. does the game need multiple full playthroughs for the 'true ending' or other nonsense? how different are playthroughs? I'm guessing not very, despite multiple endings. maybe some choices lead to different characters (and tired references), but most of it will always be the same. if you could provide more info without spoilers, would be nice.

thanks, looks like everything works as it should, added it to my wishlist. though I'll never understand the need to limit the number of saves, or set such a low limit. better than 5 or 10 but why not 50 or 100 or unlimited?

and I'd still like the middle mouse button to work as a hotspot indicator, more convenient than holding both buttons down (which a good alternative for those who use a mouse without a third button).

Me too on W11, I deleted all MS games involvement like Xbox etc.
but the game goes flawless, Chapter 5 now! :-)
