As I understand it, for Follow me, I know a shortcut achievement, you need to skip all, that is possible, be it dialog or puzzles - is that right? Then, the final puzzle in the ufo, the melody, we need to create on the user panel to change the 'handprint' - for me it was never skippable. How can I skip that?

Hi Sylviakotulla,

Thanks for your message! The melody puzzle in the UFO can actually be skipped, but only after you've opened the UI for the second time. The first time you open it, the skip option won’t appear, but if you close it and open it again, you should see the skip option on the UI screen. Also, to solve it, you just need to play the Twinkle Twinkle little start melody, there's a reminder inside the transporter room, on the screen.

Give that a try and let us know if it works!

Well, tried opening and closing - no chance, I get the same sequence as if solving it incorrect. No skip option. I solved it every time, but that would not grant me this achievement ?

I had a scene, after often talking with the fireman Wilbureforce. In the end the director fired him - read, this is an achievement, but it did not unlock. Anything missing?

Finished the game and loved it...pretty much. Can't get the epilogue or endings. Disappointing.

Hi Lyn,

So glad to hear you loved the game. :) May I ask, did you finish the game getting the "proper" ending. That's the ending that concludes the narrative and unlocks the epilogue. You can check if you have that ending by clicking "Collectibles -> Endings from the main menu. There you should see the first badge unlocked.

Help with the "Jail" Tracker
Hello,

i"m trying to follow the "Jail" Path but i'm stuck and can't find solutions to my problems

Chapter 1.2 :

- I can't figure how to unlock the first 2 options. One seems linked to the priest and the other one to Di Marco but i've tried everything and nothing worked.

Chapter 2.2 :

- Seems to be linked to the priest (again). Turned red as soon as i asked for the cup. Is there an other way to grab it or an other cup somewhere?

Thank for the help!

Hi there!

1.2
1) Win the beer-sliding contest, but get caught cheating.

2) Obtain the shears by threatening Riley with Marco (after having hit him with the cross at least once.)

2.2
Wait until Riley stops talking and eventually drops the cup.

Hope this helps!

Worked perfectly. Thanks!

I wish the game explained the tracked stuff somewhere. I'm at chapter 2 and all I've gotten is red X's across the board. I had to open the forum to know what the heck it's about, because it's utterly unclear what exactly I'm missing (dead ends, cleverer solutions, talking with people at the exact right moment?) and if it's important. It seems so easy to dodge all of whatever it is.

The devs are working on a detailled walkthrough, that can help. For now, try the discord server, there must be a link in one of the threads. All are really helpful. Don't give up, it is a great game:bettyshy:

I really don't want to wantonly join Discord servers for questions about a video game. I'm already in enough of them. Especially if the game is finished in a few hours. Discords tend to spoil stuff as the regulars tend to already have finished the (main) game and forget what is considered not-obvious to new(er) players.
All I'm asking is for an in-game explanation of what the tracked stuff means. I shouldn't have to hunt down outside communities to understand game mechanics. Or guides for that manner.

I've finally stumbled upon four of ?special alternate solutions?, three of them in 2.1 because they were easy to stumble upon. I've encountered situations where every dialogue option led to a red X - I assume a choice earlier was responsible for it, but of course it's impossible to tell, especially on a first playthrough. Seems my penchant for going through lots of dialogue is getting me both accidental solutions and locked out of them.
(And please don't assume one complaint means I abandon a point&click game? That's kind of much to assume.)

Which chapter are you in? In my first playthrough I got the good ending by trying to be friendly with everyone - mainly. At what point do you reach a red x ?
I'm stuck on unlocking a few of the rocket ship and jail paths items.

It seems that generally the skull path is usually cases where the player screwed someone over, perhaps didn't do what they promised, the rocket ship path are cases where the player was able to solve a problem only with dialog or found a way to skip someone's dialog altogether and the jail path are cases where the player kind of solved it, but less than the ideal way. Or something like that.

I'm still stuck on getting these:

rocket ship
1.3 pigeon related?
2.1.3 base gate guard related?
2.2 cake related?

jail
2.2.2 cake related?
2.2.3 I have absolutely no idea
3.3 chain/golf related?
3.4 maybe related to musician, or just the bar as a whole

Thanks!

"Rocketship" ending
1.3
Grab the sandwich from Betty’s locker at the high school, if you haven’t already.
Go to Lorraine’s store and without interacting at all with the pigeon, give it the sandwich directly.
While the pigeon is busy eating, talk with Lorraine and ask her for something to eat. (Select “The encounter with that little pigeon made me hungry…”)

2.1
Don’t talk with the person trapped inside the outhouse.
Interact with the pipe outside the outhouse to reveal the handle.
Fill the spray bottle with water from the lake.
Use the water-filled spray bottle to rinse the handle.
Once the handle is clean, grab it and use it with the valve on the outhouse.

&

Talk to Smoky and ask about Alice. (Select “Who’s Alice?”)
Continue talking and ask about the beast. (You can select any of the following: "Would you mind fetching me that kayak?" followed by "What's a Great Sherman?" / "I need you to return that rental gear right away." followed by "What's a Great Sherman?" / "What do you know about this town?" followed by "What monster are you talking about?")
When prompted, encourage Smoky to reconcile with his daughter. (Select: "Can you tell me more about the beast?" / "Don't you think it's time to bury the hatchet?" / "A bad example... but a living one.")

&

Find the dam's exit leading to the military base.
Talk to the soldier stationed there.
Select "I'm in charge of this base." to make the soldier back off.

2.2
Use the keys Smoky gave you with the Corley bike parked outside Mike’s Diner to get to Corona. (This option is only available if you convinced Smoky to go home and forget about his feud with the Great Sherman.)

"Marionette" ending
2.2
Go to the church, but don’t interact with Riley.
Wait quietly as Riley talks to himself.
When he falls asleep, the Holy Grail will drop to the floor.
Grab the Holy Grail from the floor and fill it with water from the baptismal font.

&

Take the coupon Lazlo gave you to Mike's Diner and order a cake with a surprise. (Select "Why don’t you just surprise me?")
Head to the sheriff’s office and give the cake to the sheriff. He will remove the surprise for you.
Take the plain cake to Lazlo and give it to him.

&

Ask 12 or more “unorderly” questions to raise suspicion.
Once you’ve asked enough questions, head to either Linda's junkyard or Mike's Diner. That will trigger the Re-Examination sequence.

2.3
If you’re not worthy, repeatedly pull on Excalifork. Eventually, it will break and leave you with a wooden stick.

3.3
Swap Ducky for the rubber duck.
Shake the beer bottle with Ben’s engine and head to the diner.
You will explode and lose Ducky from the inventory.

3.4
Start answering Max’s questions, but intentionally fail at any point.
