I got this just to play Mighty Switch Force 2 since it was the only one in the series I'd never played before.




I regret almost nothing.



For the new buyers: This collection is about half the price of buying all 4 games individually as far as I can tell.

PROS: God-tier OST, interesting puzzles, cute artstyle.
CONS: Developed fetish for angry robocop girl with thicc thighs.

10/10 would kick babies again!

Amazing that this Jake Kaufman soundtrack comes with a full game!

A solid series of puzzle-platform games, sporting two mainline entries, an HD-remake, and a developer pet-project side game.

For returning players on PC, this is the only PC release of Mighty Switch Force 2, making it a question for them if that game alone is worth the $20 price of admission, and its justifiably a hard sell.

If you are looking to get into this series, this collection is a no-brainer.

Mighty Switch Force Collection complies three games in the Mighty Switch Force series, all short puzzle-platformers with quality animation and top-notch soundtracks. These are all fun games, but note that two of the games compiled are already available on Steam standalone.

The original Mighty Switch Force comes in two version: The original 3DS version with traditional spritework, and the redrawn Hyper Drive Edition that is already available on Steam. It's a fun puzzle platformer that establishes the series' conventions, and it's nice that it comes in both versions.

Mighty Switch Force 2 trades the first game's policework theme for firefighting. Patty fires a firehose that can douse fires and erode mud instead of the laser she uses in the first game. Otherwise, the gameplay continues what the first game started. Of note is that this is the only unique game compiled here that is not otherwise available on Steam.

Mighty Switch Force Academy reuses a lot of assets from the first game, but it stands out in a few key ways. First of all, it has an emphasis on multiplayer, particularly co-op. Second, to accommodate multiple players, the screen shows the full stage at once instead of just Patty's immediate surroundings. Third, moving off of one side of the screen will put you on the other side a la Pac-Man and Mario Bros., and this works both horizontally and vertically. These changes all affect the level design, making for some unique challenges. This particular game is also available standalone on Steam.

Played through the 1st and 2nd Game. I played in short bursts of about 2-3 stages per session and it took me around 7 hours to finish both with a few stage retries to get par time for achievement.

NOTE: I didn't know that there was a HD version included HAHAHA. I should have played that instead.

Its gameplay is a speed running platformer with a twist of "SWITCHING" 2 phases of a box that alter your route. You can take your time with the game and treat this as strictly a platformer.

The simple gameplay of switching is a nice touch that seems to be unique or at least unique enough for me to enjoy the game. I managed to beat some par times but i don't plan on completing all of them. It kinda feels like some old school 2D sonic games.

- Challenging but can still be relaxing if you skip the speedrunning aspect

- I didn't know that the HD version was already included and i played the orginal version lol

Discovered this game through pornography, apparently it's also a really good puzzle platformer with focus in speedrunning, fantastic pixel art and music, also worth the package just for the sheer ammount of content alone!

I love this game!

- It's adorable. Beautiful artstyle & amazing, memorable soundtrack.
- Unique puzzles with unique mechanics.
- You get MSF 1, MSF 2, MSF HD (which is MSF1 in HD + you unlock Hyper stages that pose a bigger challenge) & MSF Academy which has its own unique things to it.
- For 16.79, it's a really good collection but there is always a discount option if it's too much for you.
- You can also try to beat par times for each incident.
- Achievements if you like to hunt them.

Legendary game. December 22nd marks the 10th anniversary of the series.
