Real Player Photos, Yes or No

yt videos in 3d mode show generic fake photos :(

Like real life photo real? No its all 3d face gen.

If you want like real photos you have to go to official forums and look up their mod sections. People have different photo mods.

You have to manually installl the mods usually because no one in the OOTP community creates steam mods.

They have a big stand alone installer fan base on their forum and thats who the graphic mods favor.

Even Baseball Mogul 2019 has a link in the game to download player photos. I bought it and that feature works great. After 20 years, why is this not implemented? The reason used to be an MLB issue but that does not seem to be an issue now.

Mostly guys who play historical use real pictures. If you start a modern league and keep it rolling, eventually you get a league with mixed real and facegen as fictional players enter the league and it's kind of jarring. Almost all online leagues use facegen. Many solo players and online leagues play fictional universes that they build on their own.

There is just a lot of different ways to play ootp and facegen makes sense for a lot of those uses.

OOTP had an ingame mod installer for this but then they switched to Steam workshop but the community kept doing their own thing.

Maybe I'll try the Facegen and forget the photos. Games just seem more real to me when I use photos. I'm not much of a sports fanatic, I play this game through the years because I like to micromanage. Crazy I know.

Skeays go to OOTP forums sun forum mods for this stuff. The user base is mostly non steam especially when it comes to mods like photos.

Remember ootp can simulated baseball all over the world. Thinking it be pretty hard to get like 5000k+ real photos in the game.

Then your 1st draft class would be fake photos. And its not just mlb draft but all major international league drafts.
