2nd Player Coop?
i just found this review from someone in store page

"Great for single player New ways to kill but seems a bit op and almost to easy on hard.
Another negitive is that when you play with a friend the 2nd player does not get progression nor the characters you unlock along the way. Please let me know if I am wrong"

so is it true no progress for 2nd player?

stop bumping the thread, I am installing now and will find out how it works shortly.

No sense having people just post one word answers that just spam OP's thread.

Update?

Update: the 2nd player locally retains all levels, weapons gem etc as it's a shared pool

Online CO-OP: still unknown as nobody as responded to my co-op thread or the number used to join the game.

Additionally: I am busy with other things such as day to day living etc, please don't assume I always have free time to keep the masses informed when things can change at the drop of a hat, thank you.

I will keep trying later and let you know what works and what does not but for the moment i must say OP is wrong about joining a game means you don't retain progression etc, the game uses a chapter system so both players PROGRESS TOGETHER as they fight together.

it's still very early days but it seems like more updates for this game will be on the way in the next few weeks.

Last but not least I won't be responding to trolls and thread bumpers, you will be ignored or reported so bear it in mind especially the german fella who's got nothing better to do.

This is some great detail thank you.
Hopefully theres some sort of flag check to see that an online 2P is on the current mission or not...

Me and my husband bought this and hes stuck near a military base 1000miles away lol, Really looked foward to playing co-op together.

I hope you enjoy it and sorry I don't have more at this moment in time, especially when trolls who don't have the game want to pipe up and tell me what to do and when to do it, they can get ♥♥♥♥♥♥!!

You will enjoy it and i hope you get your money's worth, most of the comments seem related to FPS so it's not too problematic and happy gaming

So! I did some testing and played with my husband tonight.

tldr; NO. Co-op is not progressive on Player 2's story.

Heres the details of what is gained.

Gems during the battle and Reward missions.
Weapons, Picked up by yourself AND the host.
Growth Points.

XP is not obtained or I didn't notice leveling up ever mid-mission while on player 2.

This isn't horrible but I really wish it was progressive.
