The cast is exclusively Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, and the Warriors Orochi Mystic characters (as far as I am aware). So you'll see Kaguya, Kyubi, Hundun, etc. But no Ryu, Akane, Sophitia, etc.

There's Koshōshō and Lady Hayakawa from SW4-II, who were not in SW-3, which is what Orochi 3 was based on. And there's Zhang Chunhua and Lu Lingqi from DW8-E, where Orochi 3 was based on iirc DW 7.

That's 4 other females new to the Orochi franchise, atleast.

I, for one, am glad those silly as hell guest characters are gone. They stood out like a sore thumb and it made it harder to take the game seriously (even though it's not supposed to be taken seriously).

Steam forums have a serious Scunthorpe problem ("Scunthorpe" itself is whitelisted I believe, but probably most Japanese names containing the した or しつ syllable pair aren't).
