Can't max character stats after 9 promotions?

Is it possible for all characters to have maxed stats (2000 atk, 2000 def, 2000 HP, 200 speed)?

I promoted my Gaia up to the limit (says Max on the stats window), leveled her to 100 again (it is not possible to level or promote her further), but I can't get all of her stats up to the unlocked green caps. I got attack and HP up to 2000, and speed to 200, but her defense is only somewhere around 1400.

I refunded all my stones to double check, but I ended up with the same result. Are some characters just not able to be fully maxed out because of base stats or something?

If you put around 1680 in each stat and max speed, you should have 2000 on the 3 stats.

EDIT: I figured it out, I did completely miss something. I did not know that the upgrades were intended to stop even at max at 1680. I reset everything only 1680 in the big three, and back on the main screen everything's maxed. And, with ~260 stones left over.

Did I miss something? Even when resetting stones and trying again, I get the same numbers. Also I guess I misremembered my Defense number, 1267, definitely not 2000.

It is annoying that the bonuses from skills are not displayed on stone investment screen. I noticed this when I was trying to max my speed. I had 15 speed bonus from skills and after investing up to 185 it becomes maxed but in stones allocation screen it does not limit you and lets you invest up to 200 which means that 15 stones will be wasted. At least realocation of stones is free so as long as you know about how it works you can easily invest them correctly.

this game need a higher difficulty level for maxed out players, chaos is a joke after u reach 2000 stats

yes, some characters have lower stats, they can not reach 2000 on 3 stats
btw, the overflow stats still work, if u max attack in level 1, lv 100 character will get 200~300 attack from growth. let't take the avg(250), compared to 2000(1680+320), it is 2570(2000+250+320), 30% higher
