Defeat all enemy officers

I've been playing i think 2 or 3 missions with this objective and were always missing 1 officer. We've killed everything on the map and there's only the main objective officer left on the map and it seems that he / she doesnt count at all.. Or am i missing something?

The final enemy commander does (or should) count for this total. Check back and make sure you're good.

Sometimes if you take enemy bases too fast, scripted reinforcement officers do not spawn there when they should.

If u allow your friendly troops or 3rd force kill those general it won't register as a kill.

Actually, defeat all enemy officers doesn't work in online coop for whatever reason. I've been playing the campaign together with a friend, but we've had to do those missions again single player to finish the defeat all objectives.

i noticed with a friend of mine that when playing a mission where you have to kill all enemy officers BUT the last enemy officer is NOT the objective to end the mission it works as just fine.

I've been playing coop mostly and I haven't had a problem where the officers don't count for the mission even if it's the final enemy. I have, however, had situations where killing the primary officer results in other officers retreating and leading to a fail for the quest.

Once in a while there are units that the second player kills that don't count for the first, but they've always remained available for me to strike down myself and it usually seems to be engineers.
