Bad fps on good pc (fix)!!!!
For nvidia users
1. Go to nvidia control panel

2. Manage 3d settings

3. switch to program settings

4. Find orochi warriors 4 on the "select a program to costumize tab" (if you can't find it in the dropdown list then press the add button and find it through there)

5. Change power management mode to "prefer maximum performance"

6. Change vertical sync "on" or "off"
DO NOT let it stay on "global settings" or "3d application setting"

This will override the in-game vsync with the graphics card vsync.
It seems that the game has a really bad and wierd vsync that are causing many people to get bad fps.

Anyway that's enough from me
Happy gaming! And remember, DO NOT pursue lu bu!

Just another bad port. Nothing to do with v-sync this time. No rigs can run the game on ultra without frame drops.

The v-sync had alot to do with my bad performance. First time i played i would have 15-30 fps on medium, but after the v-sync fix it went to 60 fps almost constantly on high.
Although not all people have this problem, but the ones that do get a huge framerate drop from it

I’ve tried to scan game by nvidia exeperience but no orochi into the new list.

Does any idea about how to add game to the video card list?
You don't need to use nvidia experience. You have to use nvidia control panel. Right click on the backround when your in your desktop and click nvidia control panel.

If you're still not sure how to open it then try typing in nvidia control panel in the search bar

Hey, it works.

I learnt the trick you should needed to use "Add" button to find the game,Orochi, rather than the dropdown list.

And I also turn off the reflection in game and use medium that can get 60~55 FPS.

as AMD graphics card user, i cant fix fps issue :( does anybody tried any method with amd card?if yes post pls.
well the step from this thread is the same on AMD but easier since they have an seperate option for it rather than you have to go through AMD control panel like Nvidia did

Other than that try rollback/update the driver, run on administrator, verify game cache, pray for god, do windows update

Alot of FPS after that setting change. Works for my friend with her underpowered GTX 960. Got some good 50-60s. I'mma get this after the price goes down.
I have 970 and I got 6 fps on recommended specs I was given lmao.
hopefully this helps. Will update when I get back from work

I didn't do the power management thing but I did try turning on/off Vsync in Invidia Control panel. I found the game ran smoother with it off.

Still doesn't seem quite right but it is way better than before. Not sure why but the graphics don't look so good even having everything at max.

Having the vsync off may lead to some tearing and other graphical glitches.
I don't think this game was made for having the vsync off

Possibly but the fact remains that having it off increased my fps significantly.

Then maybe running the game in borderless is the best way to go for you. Hopefully KT will continue to optimize this game through updates

Plugging my headset to the controller did it. I opened the game multiple times and now it's running on my GTX 1070. That's really weird.

I have to disable vsync on warriors games on my pc (I7 8700, 16GB RAM, GTX1080) otherwise the game locks to 59fps and has a constant stutter. No other games do this, just ones from Omega Force!.

I had to switch power management to adaptive to fix the low framerates.

I found a solution for the 59fps bug Im encountering on warriors titles, its not ideal but I run my display at 50hz, then warriors titles run at a consistent 50fps with vsync on, its not perfect but its consistent and much better than 60fps with frame pacing issues

thanks for the help TC.

The setting i think what made my fps go back to 60 was "Power Management to Prefer maximum performance"

For whatever reason, my gpu thought it didn't have to clock up and was basically asleep. The default setting it was at was Optimal Performance... guess it wasnt too optimal hahahomehaho.
