Using Apo's Light or Anti Fungal on a Laz will transform it into Apo
Using a Subtractor Gem on Gallante will transform it into Owmbra
There are two ways to transform them. One is in battle which using the item on them will transform them for the duration of the battle. Doing this does not consume the item but they will of course revert back afterwards. If you use the item outside of battle though, it will be consumed and permanently transform the monster. The transformation will adjust stats, raising some and potentially lowering others.
Take note that when it comes to transforming monsters permanently (I'm not sure if this also applies to in battle as I never transformed my monsters in battle, only overworld permanent transformations) that the majority of the transformations only work on the base species, it won't have an effect on the hybrids, save for a few. If you wish to get hybrids of transformations you will have to breed for them. That being said, Dracoyle, Cobreo, Plumo, and Juveneel's transformations do not have hybrids, so breeding them will just result with a crossbreed of the normal species.
If you're feeling specifically cruel, using a transformation item on Laz that isn't Super Gro, Apo's Light, or Anti Fungal, or trying to use any transformation item on a Laz hybrid will result in something else entirely.
