This game needs to fix it's S***

[Ferreus the Umbral Arrow]

Too many bugs for a pixel game. Look at the bug reports, and I can say I've experienced most of them. It's so bad right now, I can't even play the game on my end, as none of my monsters are leveling - and if I go to change leader or look at skills, I get stuck in the party screen unable to get out without alt+F4ing

Dunno what they are doing, but they are killing the experience for me and others.

Yeah, I got the beta early and thought all this stuff would be fixed at release but unfortunately it looks like not.


I lost most of my progress because it froze in the monster selection screen so I just straight up uninstalled it for now.

Should be an easy fix. Dunno why we keep getting content when they need to fix all these basic bugs

However, they should STRIVE to make the thing playable :)

Yeah, I can't even continue my save game. It shows a black screen. Hopefully they're working on a bugfix to solve some of these issues.

I've been following this game's progress for ages. I hope to enjoy it once it's more playable.

They do updates every week or so and have been adding more and more content. I've been able to play just fine...maybe it's something in your end?

If it's a black screen on the title screen, then it's pretty common for me as well but by pressing the x button(I use the contoller) it does take you to the save select screen.

I can second this, press the controller button and the screen comes up. Game has been playing fine for me too.

I pressed every button at the black screen and nothing happens unfortunately. I'll have to wait for updates I guess. Or start a new save.

It's not a black screen on the title screen either. It's only after I clicked to continue my save.

Odd...well I can only suggest uninstalling then reinstalling, see if that works. You can also find you save file in the Monster Crown folders and save it and put back once you reinstall. There is a discussion on this forum talking about it but that was a while ago, but I bet it's still there.

Scruffy that sounds like a file corruption issue, can we connect? I can probably save your file for you!

Viking your monsters aren't levelling at all? I haven't received reports of that. I think what may be happening is you have party exp on and the experience is getting split so far that it seems like battles aren't giving you any progress.

Basically if you're defeating weak foes, splitting that across 8 monsters can be very little exp.

I'm pushing a patch right now, could you give it a try, turn off party exp and then do a few battles, I bet you'll see level ups!

I am lvl 5 with my monsters...not deleting anything lol. Can't play - cause since launch, I keep getting stuck in party menu

Ok there was a bug where you could get stuck in the party menu between getting Teedon and getting your starter that is now fixed, are you post-starter-select?

I have been post starter select for awhile. Other people having the same issue and have been since launch. Check the bug reports
