The game is server based similar to games like rust and ark etc. It's very common these days that you need to rent a private server or host one.
Since you can host a private local server there is very little benefit or incentive for the devs to make a proper coop mode. It's a QoL issue at best and they are a small team.
As on the other post you have replied on there is also hamanchi but that has its quirks.
Once you take half hour following the "set up your own private server" guide you have a solution to what you are after. That is much quicker than the devs investing days/weeks of time into developing it for a very small audience.
They said they are "considering" it but never promised it.
Single Player = Single Player
so how the hell can a Singleplayer be Multiplayer? oO
Singleplayer means you play alone and MUltiplayer means not alone...
