Anti-Virus removed part of the game as being a Heuristic virus?

The game executables were sandboxed or deleted by Windows Defender or other antivirus software.
Sometimes it happens due to a false positive detection by antivirus heuristics. You can always upload the files for analysis on VirusTotal. Here is the latest analysis:

First file is detected as suspicious by 1/69, second file by 3/69 antiviruses. Unfortunately, this happens from time to time due to antivirus heuristics basically doing a guess-job when looking in the executables.

I would suggest rebooting the PC and reinstalling the game after that. If the issue continues, please add the game executables files into the antivirus whitelist:

<game installation folder>\Binaries\Client\CryoFall_Client.exe
<game installation folder>\Binaries\Shared\Compiler\CryoFall_Compiler.exe

if you still has trouble executing the game, there is a rebuilt executable in Steam "patch" branch (game properties->Betas tab, if it's not here please restart the Steam Client). It was rebuilt with the latest version of the packing tool we're using (the version we were using was fairly outdated as we don't update tools which are working fine).
On VirusTotal only being detected by single fairly unknown engine as a potential malware:

I hope Norton would be merciful this time.
I would appreciate if other players also could check the patch branch to see whether it causing any issues as changing the packer might lead to some unexpected bugs. Software is never perfect...
