Boss in singleplayer
I tried to beat the queen in singleplayer. My Manul with heavy autocannon run out of hp and i retreated. I tried with a Behemoth with an energycannon, but his dps was so low, i could only bring the queen to 50% when i run out of hp. I think i can beat her if i use multiple Mechs. To optimize it, id like to hear what u think is best.

Queen fight
1. Which is the best Mech?
2. Which is the best Weapon?
3. Which is the best Ammunition?

Tyrant fight
4. Which is the best Mech?
5. Which is the best Weapon?
6. Which is the best Ammunition?

Please exclude Nemesis.

In my next try i want to test the Behemoth with Artillery + Manul with heavy Autocannon and armor piercing Ammo.

1. For the Queen every Mech works except the Skipper i would say. Nemesis is the best. Not sure if Manul or Behemoth is better for Singleplayer (i would say Behemoth is better) with a group its the Manul.
2. Heavy Autocannon for Manul, for the Behemoth both are good and Heavy Swarm Launcher should be the best for Nemesis.
3. The Armor Piercing 0.300 should be the best for the Heavy Autocannon but i dont think there is a big gap between that and the incendiary ammo.

1. For the Tyrant Nemesis is again the best and then the Manul. The Behemoth is to slow and the Skipper to squishy.
2-3. The same as Queen.

Here is a post from ai and the tread.

Hello!

Yes, it's definitely possible to defeat bosses on local server, even on the highest difficulty.

Behemoth mech is the slowest mech so fighting Sand Tyrant boss with it would be very tough (it's perfect against Pragmium Queen boss though!).

Interesting fact: there are players that are able to defeat Sand Tyrant in singleplayer mode without a mech—by using only a hoverboard, a .300 cal machine gun or grenade launcher, and perfectly dodging all the attacks. So speed is very important when fighting this boss. I would not recommend trying to fight him on a hoverboard though as a single hit will drop you from it. Manul mech would be perfect the best option.

I would suggest not rushing the bosses to understand how much damage you may receive and what attacks they use. Have a few repair kits so you can retreat and repair your mech to try again.

Regards!

I tried to solo the queen on my local server. I have a Manul with heavy autocannon. The Manul seems too slow to dodge anything so I only got the queen down to about 70% before I needed to repair. When I retreated to repair the queen fully healed. What am I missing here? I also heard that the incendiary ammo is effective against the queen but it seemed like it was only doing about half of the damage when I tried it.

I gave up on it. u have to build 3-4 mechs and park them in the back. Then bring her down by 25% with each mech. repairing costs too much time.

Yes, it was a bit annoying in single player, at first. I used 2 Behemoth, and later Nemesis and Behemoth for backup. I used explosive weapons those with low fire rate if i remember correctly - artillery and heavy cannon. And as they are slow i just build small bases next to boss spawning areas with Vehicle Assembly Bay in each for fast teleportation of them. For sand tyrant most important is to evade those projectile areas, and to leave backup mech far enough.

Technique seems to be the most important factor in soloing bosses.

I did both the queen and tyrant with a single Manul with autocannon and full load out of .300 AP rounds. The name of the game for both of them seems to be to get in range and don't let up.

You cannot dodge the queen's shot gun spread attack you will just have to eat them. Don't get so close that you get hit by more than 1 projectile but be inside the autocannon range. Gun down the spawns as needed. Finding that sweet spot range seems to be the key to the queen. Don't forget to run away from the explosion when the boss dies.

The sand tyrant is just a DPS race. You MUST dodge the red circles, getting hit by even 1 of them and you should probably run away and repair and reload and reset the fight. I mostly ignored the thumper spawns unless they happened to run in the way of my bullets targeting the boss. The key seems to be to dodge all the red circles and non-stop DPS on the boss. Clean up the thumpers afterwards, dont forget to run away from boss death explosion.

Interestingly, I did try the queen solo with a nemesis and heavy swarm launcher. I died. I think the heavy swarm launcher range is too short to do the queen. That was a very expensive and painful lesson to learn, I do not think the nemesis is a good choice in solo bosses. It also has 100 less health than the Manul and that extra 100 HP has definitely meant the difference between win and loss on several of my boss farm runs.

I don't think you're missing anything. I think people are full of it.
