Is this just top-down view rust?

When I first saw it I thought it looked awesome. After reading that it has "Official and Community made servers", I immediately jumped to rust. Come into the discussions and see things about land claims and server wipes. So is there no dungeon crawling, no enemies/boss', and no story? Just gather/craft and pvp?

I'm just curious if I've made an accurate assessment of the game. If there's more to it, great, I'd like to know about it.

2 Hours in and what it sounds like, its not hardcore like 7D2D or Ark or anything its feels like a nice tablet game or phone tbh, I like it though so far, just harvesting killing local wildlife and crafting so far, I did not go PvP server though

Well, you can simply try the demo. The demo is essentially full version of the game which you can play for 8 hours :)
