Platin Medal?
I noticed the times for requiring a gold medal are pretty lax, since the game highly emphasizes fluid movements. With no situations (so far) where you ever have to stop running, I expected someting more close to perfection, but even when I'm not really playing optimal I have 6 - to 10 seconds spare time, which makes time trials not feel that much different from simply running through the levels.

I tried my best to perfect my time in the second level, just to see if their is nothing above gold, seems like that's the case, can someone confirm this?

Hey! Thanks for the feedback. Do you feel this problem overall or just at specific levels? If you find it only on specific levels, could you tell us what you feel it? Thanks a lot!!

I have played through the first world and some levels of the second world, I pretty much always end up with approximately 10 seconds more time than necessary for gold, if I don't stop once.
I will update my experience for the later levels when I'm playing the game further.

I wouldn't call it directly a problem but for a time trial, it's not really challenging your speed, you're not forced to optimize the route. If this wasn't the intention, then you might reconsider adding an additional reward tier like platin or adjusting the times.
Similiar games I played were way more demanding at this and it kept me invested for the time. (Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze or Crash Bandicoot 3 for example)

Hey, I agree with Rambotti. I've cleared the entire game and there wasn't a single level where I found the gold medal challenging. Still enjoyed the game a lot though! Shame more people don't know about this because it's really good!

After playing further, I can say for sure the times for gold medals are extremely lenient. On 2-3 for example I did have 25 seconds left on the clock(!) and still I wasn't playing perfect.

Good to know that Chris agree's with me so you may consider offering an more challenging medal above gold in the future, so far I would say that time trials don't give the game anything new, besides extending the playtime.

I also agree, the time is very lenient. 25 seconds is not even that rare, and there are only few levels where you don't at least have around 5 seconds to spare. And I'm not even a speedrunner, I think they'll be much faster.
