Hey! Thanks for the feedback. Do you feel this problem overall or just at specific levels? If you find it only on specific levels, could you tell us what you feel it? Thanks a lot!!
I have played through the first world and some levels of the second world, I pretty much always end up with approximately 10 seconds more time than necessary for gold, if I don't stop once.
I will update my experience for the later levels when I'm playing the game further.
I wouldn't call it directly a problem but for a time trial, it's not really challenging your speed, you're not forced to optimize the route. If this wasn't the intention, then you might reconsider adding an additional reward tier like platin or adjusting the times.
Similiar games I played were way more demanding at this and it kept me invested for the time. (Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze or Crash Bandicoot 3 for example)
Good to know that Chris agree's with me so you may consider offering an more challenging medal above gold in the future, so far I would say that time trials don't give the game anything new, besides extending the playtime.
