Open Beta - Speedrun Competition FAQ

Hi all and welcome to the open beta! This is an FAQ for the speedrun competition in the beta. If you're looking for a General FAQ, please go here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/829280/discussions/0/2144217412759804637/

In short, the speedrun competition is about setting the best time on the following four levels in the game:

The best time on each of these levels will win a copy of Kaze and the Wild Masks on launch for a platform of choice!

Entrants will have to take a screenshot of the selected stage in the world overview, showing their best ANY% time OR submit a video showing their run and the time at the end to Discord (https://discord.gg/soedesco), Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #PlayKaze AND #[StageName]

Q: From when till when is competition open?
A: 6 April, 6:00pm CEST - 13 April, 5pm CEST

Q: How do you enter the contest? Where do you share these? Discord? Twitter? Facebook? Steam? Other social media?
A: Entries are only counted on Discord (https://discord.gg/soedesco) Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Posts should include #PlayKaze AND #[StageName] so we can find them. Only then will they be eligible.

Q: I don't have any social media or Discord accounts, can I still participate in this?
A: Unfortunately not.

Q: Can you still participate even if you don't tag the contest #?
A: No, entries are only eligible if the hashtag is used, because we need the tag to find the posts.

Q: What is the min and maximum number of entries per participant?
A: The minimum number of entries is 1. There’s no maximum amount of entries.

Q: Is there an age limit for people to be allowed to enter the contest?
A: There’s no age limitation for entering the contest

Q: Can I gift my prize to someone else?
A: Yes, after receiving your reward you can decide to gift it to someone else.

Q: How many winners will there be?
A: There will be four winners, one for each stage

Q: Can I participate for someone else?
A: When you participate for someone else and you win, you’ll receive 1 (one) key and you’ll have to pass the key on. You won’t receive more than 1 key.

Q: Can I participate as a team of two or more?
A: Yes, but only one key will be awarded to the winning entry.

Q: Can I win more than 1 prize in this competition?
A: Prizes are limited to 1 per entrant in this competition. If you set the high score on 2 or more stages, you'll get the prize for your best time on one stage and the other prizes will go to the runner up.

Q: If I participated in the closed beta, will my time count?
A: Only times set in the open beta build will count. Your closed beta build will not count

Q: If I won during the closed beta, can I participate again?
A: You can participate again, however you'll just be playing for the ride. You're disqualified from winning as that would be a little unfair to the new players, wouldn't it? :D

Any way you could maybe keep the best submitted time updated occasionally? just curious. or if anybody want to post their best times im curious

I don't think screenshot is a good form of submission since You can manipulate time with cheat engine.
