I've yet to find any collection of TT Lego video game mods - which seems absurd to me. Just some scattered small bits on YouTube. One would THINK there would be a ♥♥♥♥ ton. Is there something going on with how Steam handles the files? If I just managed to miss it, let me know.

Honestly, I'm just Hoping Lego DC Super-Villains has some solid mod support for the post-game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around. Add in stuff from Lego Batman 3 and maybe Lego Avengers or Lego Marvel 2. Add in missing characters and put in variations for characters like Batman and (Red) Robin and etc..

Anyone know any mod people interested in the game?

I don't think its because of Steam, it seems like there just isn't a community for it. A lot of the people who play the LEGO games are younger so they might not even know about custom skins, so less demand for mods. I hope we get some modding for this game though, but if we don't we'll still have the new character creator!

Look...

Lego games are getting harder to mod.

Old lego games were easy to mod since they supported DX9


But the new ones have DX11 which is incompatible with texmod
So makings skins is harder

On top of that
The games refuse to launch with the GAME.DAT files extracted
Which makes it almost impossible to add new characters or replace textures
Making new characters is not easy

I know cause I mod these games...

lol, thanks for Referencing, but it usually takes a while to make mods after game's release))
I am not saying I Won't make mods, but it will be some time (over a month, most likely) =/

oh, Also- since the last time TT Games mentioned possible Marvel/DC crossover was at Lego Marvel Superheroes' (first One's!!!!!) release, and never mentioned it since- it's Highly Unlikely they will add stuff from Lego Marvel in LEGO DC Supervillains...... LEGO Batman, on the other hand...... ;D we just gotta wait and see, I guess.

I meant modding Marvel stuff into DC.
I hiiighly doubt TT would be able to get both liscenses to play nice. The last time that happened was JLA/Avengers in 2006. We're overdue and while Lego would be a great venue - I just don't think it's realistic.
Hence, modding stuff in.

How easy would it be to mod in characters from Lego Batman 1-3? I imagine the hard part would be the models. Selecting their powers and whatnot should maybe be easier, considering how this one looks? But, I'm no expert.

It is Deffinetely Possible, although I never tried character transfer- I prefer modding "existing" ones))

How do you mean modding existing characters?
Can you show me some of your recent mods for, say Lego Batman 3 / Avengers / Marvel 2?

I remember talk of one because of the post-Credit scene in Lego Batman 3, but we can still Hope for Lego Super Heroes: Justice League / The Avengers

Not for Batman 3, sadly- didn't really feel it needed modding without big hubs....
As for Marvel mods..... beware, they might be breaking continuity of the story slightly! ;D
