(The newest version is an updated GUI over what people say to do in older discussions.)
Extract and put anywhere (C:\Apps\x360ce) and then run it. It'll pick up your controller.
Go to the Games tab, add the Lego game manually.
At the bottom left for "Hook Mask" section, tick the box for "COM".

(I added Auto Map to PAD 1, don't know if it does any good)
This fixed it for me. Instant menu navigation with the controller only. I even got to smash some things without a split-screen!
Have not tested if I accidentally hit a key on the M&K (say, to alt+tab).
The older posts talk about older versions of x360ce that rely on manually editing the .ini file. The new updated versions use a GUI that does it for you. Make sure to keep your version updated!
So my controller is a 9th gen Xbox controller, would that make a difference or cause any problems with the software? I'm sorry I'm not that tech savvy :|
My controller was plugged in via USB. It doesn't matter wired or wireless, game still operates separate input devices as separate players.
Not really sure, but as long as the software is updated, should still work.
