Are there still a ton of bugs?
I read several reviews that mention there were a lot of bugs in this game. Are people still having issues? I think this game would be fun, but I'm hesitant about getting a game that would just end up being frustrating/resetting alot due to bugs.

I didn't have issues either until freeplay... like being unable to break an aquarium in Penguin's lounge with sonar to release the item...

Doubt it. I have a 1080ti 11gb gpu. I messed with compatability settings today, via properties in local files and finally saw a recurring bug disappear - wish I had done that long ago. These things are more compatability issues than optimization. A bit different than say, how inferior hardware could run Arkham Knight better (1060gtx outperforming a 1080gtx, so on).

Anyways, yeah, these bugs have nothing to do with hardware, it seems more software compatability and engine mishaps in game - probably due to rushing the game. But if you really experienced no bugs at launch, you just happened to get lucky. I'm curious if you played before or after the patch and how many hours you played the game. After a great amount of hours, you've probably ran across some small glitches you just didn't notice. I've seen e everything from characters falling thrugh levels to spawning in a wall (before the patch).

Players who ignore the "Controller strongly recommended" tagline and use keyboard and mouse are also more likely to suffer from bugs due to Tt Games not treating those controls as relevant. I love Tt games and their Lego games but that's also been a con in Lego games on pc.

I played through every level, total 25hrs but it was after the patch I bought it in the sale. I had one visual bug with reverse flash's head in the character customiser and that was it. Everything else worked as expected.

I just reached 100% and all available achievements. GTX1080 & i6700k in my case, using 3840x2160 as resolution. Game did run smoothly with all bells and whistles.

I encountered only small glitches that did not hinder progress a lot. The camera got stuck at one character in free play, but I could switch to the second in the team and continue. The photo shooting in the swamp had some issues, this I had to do twice to finish. In all third person games I know camera angles are a problem, Lego DC Super Villains is not worse than Tomb Raider in this regard. So the few times I couldn't position a certain car for a race where a small nuisance, but nothing to brag about.
Same here, just reached 100% today :)

Now I just need the dlc to get thkse secret dlc locked achievements :steamhappy:

I had my computer freeze, when I was making a lot more progress than I had in the past. That was fun. Luckily, I've only ever had it happen once so far. *knocks on wood* Did anyone else experience this? I hope I don't have something wrong with my PC. :/
I haven't but I don't think anything is wrong with your pc if it only happened once. Chances are that something running in the background (at the time) conflicted with the game or operating system causing the freeze. Scary but pc's can act strangely at times with or without reason
I didn't get any bugs, that ruined the game, at all.

When I try to play "Sea King Trouble" in free play, the game freezes.
EDIT: temporarily lowering the resolution to 800x600 solves that problem.

Funny how now the game has a bug which doesn't even allow you to progress further then the bank heist level. What a game destroying bug, give me my money back or fix it.

It's an isolated issue. If this was a common bug, your point would be valid bit it's not

I'm stuck on the second mission during the heist at G.C.P.D. I get to the area where the Riddler's henchmen are in cells and release them, build the thing and have them do the ladder where they stand on each other. The problem is that in my game, the Riddler gets glitchy on the female henchman and starts kind of multi-jumping on her while jumping up, then I finally get up to the bar. I swing and jump from the first bar to the next and into the glass window- and the Riddler breaks the glass but doesn't go into the room beyond it. I go back and try again and it's like he's hitting the glass wall because instead of landing where he should, he hits the entrance way and slides down to the floor. I've exited the level and reloaded, same thing happens, quit the game and reloaded and no difference. This happened while using my keyboard as the controller and while using my handheld pc controller; I tried both just to see if it would make a difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Same thing

Exact thing I experienced

If I recall correctly, what I did to get past that part was having the Riddler jump from the top of the henchman to break through the glass wall instead of using the bars.

I did it by double jumping myself but here's an alternative solution.
