How to save game?

Where do I save game while in middle of playing? For example, I'm in Chapter 1 and I had to stop to look at walkthrough then load game. I had to start whole again.

you can't save in the middle of a story-mission, but each has two or three auto-save checkpoints. there's no need to close the game in order to look for a walkthrough, though. why not just alt-tab out to your desktop or use the steam-overlay's web browser (shift+tab)?

Theres a few quicksave points scattered around in the levels usually, and the game autosaves so if you crash you can pick up from the last checkpoint

If you find a checkpoint in a level you can save at it and continue playing, and then if you close the game or the game crashes it will place you back where you saved, it is not automatic in most places
