how can i get my usb controller to work in this game?

Try changing the device in the gamepad settings in game. Click on "change device" and then click a button on the controller. It should change after that

yeah i did that but for some reason i can't select "accept" after i map the keys

I think I had the same issue. After you map the keys, use the keyboard to select accept and see if the controller works after that

Sometimes you need to hit ACCEPT with the OLD configuration if you changed the OK key mapping. The new OK button will take effect after the Accept has been hit.

Which controller are you using? Another thing that I had to do for LEGO Batman 3 was connecting my controller after the game launches and is in the main menu. If the controller was connected before I launched, the game wouldn’t recognize it

wel i have the problem the game reconise the controler bat wont accept the controler or anny nieuw key maping

Try to alter settings for the "2nd player" as the keyboard could be your 1st player. Unless you launch the game with the controller hooked and only use the controller to get from the launchscreen to the main menu. The key/control you use to get from the launch screen to the main menu, is the main control device for player 1.
