Does siding w/either team effect gameplay?
*Spoiler Alert!
When you complete the main story, there’s an option to join either the “heroes” or the “villians.” I’d like to know if this will effect the storyline. Will future quests/challenges differ depending on which side was chosen? Will it determine the storyline in a significant manner, or just cosmetically (ie. Quests involve villians instead of heroes, or vice-versa) w/o any ‘real’ impact.
Would replayng the level in ‘story mode’ & change allegiances have any effect?

It doesnt affect gameplay. You unlock the Justice League Questline no matter what team you choose. The only difference is a tiny cutscene at the end of the game

Tnx, I chose villian & couldn’t tell if anything was effected. I notice that your character’s affiliation (hero/villian/neutral) could be chosen under the personality tab, as well as team affiliation, but hadn’t crossed any storylines/quests reflecting said options. Looks like the “tiny cutscene” may be the sole alteration, making the rest just cosmetic.

I recently discovered that having Affiliation: Good gives you the ability to interact with security checkpoints. Villains and Neutrals don't have that ability. Is there any point to having a custom character set to villain?
