A way to disable Scale/Size on your character?

I'm not too far in the game but I just unlocked the second power, Scale, that lets you go into vents and also control your size at will. This is annoying because, in combat, I'll want to grapple and finish enemies, but i'll just end up haphazardly shrinking myself.

I've given myself a few fun looks and abilities but I can't find a way to disable this. Can someone let me know how? Thanks.

For your primary created character, you can't until you beat the last story mission. You can add and change some things, but can't remove any powers unlocked in levels until the credits roll. After that, you're free to change them how you wish. Also, other custom characters are totally open from the word go. But the first one will still be used in the story.
