The wine cellar puzzle is possible
When you finish the bar bathroom scene and go back out into the bar, two guys at a table will tell you about some hidden treasure downstairs in the wine cellar. I figured out the clock puzzles and all the rest, but the final part is impossible. I put the final bottle in its slot, then all the labels switch around and then I'm supposed to move the bottles so that they correspond to their labels again. There is only one empty slot, so with the rules of the puzzle, you can't move the bottles back. I've tried looking elsewhere for help but nobody's guide shows this puzzle. Am I the only one to notice this?

That is precisely my dilemma

Oh my god. I don't know if the puzzle is unfinished, if you had to come into it with a previous item, knowledge, interaction, etc. I don't see a single person say they completed it. I wonder if it's doable?

It is solvable. I completed it yesterday.

Hi, I put together the solution.

Thank you, now i'll finally solve the mystery! But for the record, I was thinking that the puzzle was more specific, requiring the 4th bottle to become 3rd, 5th->2nd, 6th->1st. If you watch the labels carefully, that would be the logical solution, right? Its seems like this requires you to ignore the text about what the spirits actually are. Was I just too tired when I played this part, because now my memory is a bit fuzzy

Yes, I thought the same thing. xD That would have been impossible.

Hi, i'm currently stuck at clock puzzles (i figured only the first one out). Could you guys give me some help? thx

This is another example of bad logic. As far as I can tell, you're supposed to think of a 10 card as a 10, jack is 11, queen 12. However, (and I'm going by memory here) the developer actually values the queen at 11. so in the drawer with three cards, you're supposed to use the values of the cards as clock numbers, except treat the queen as an 11. Another clock combination involves the bottom row of the wine bottle rack and another one involves the numbers glowing on the wall near the door.

Hi, I'm wondering if you can tell me how you get more bottles. I've done the clock and the monkey face, but I'm staring at a wine rack with 2 movable bottles on the upper row, 2 unmovable bottles, 2 empty spaces and a closed space I can't open. I can't find anything to interact with in the cellar anymore. I can only look at the poker cards in the drawer or at the monkey face drawing...

If you've only done the glowing numbers with the clock, you still need to do the poker card numbers and the numbers from the bottom row of the wine rack. Just find a visual pattern on the bottom row that gives you three numbers. At some point you'll have an empty bottle in your inventory, which can be filled at the barrels in the far right of the room. That's all I can remember now, but I think that gets you to the point TrashieBee made a guide for. If you can confirm that we'll have made a pretty complete guide for this puzzle.

ok so I am on the right track at least. I did the monkey-face-riddle and the green-glowing-torch-numbers-clock-riddle. I also tried many combinations of the card-game-hint and the lower-bottle-row-hint with the clock, but so far none of them worked. Will try some more.

awesome, now i accidentically triggered some combination while trying around the lower wine bottle row but dont know if it was the solution for that one or the poker game xD. direkt spoiler:I think it was green on 7, red on 5 and yellow on somewhere around 2-4
TheLomaxx Aug 12, 2020 @ 5:27am
uhm, and the last one is something with 5,9,12? I did it by a mixture of brute force attack and assumptions, but .... oh wait....maybe i see why this is the solution. I can't recall the colors but it should be the solution of the card game. But I didnt consider the queen to have a that value. Well, maybe i am totally wrong anyway.

oohkay I did it. After some bottleswitching which i also didnt fully understand, I made it to the reward. Slightly funny to be praised to be intelligent if you solve the riddles without understanding them xD . Not spoiling to much, but i tag it as spoiler anyway: The reward you get sounds like that one is connected to the other secret later in the game. Let's see if my assumption is correct.
