Are there any cheats in the game?

I love playing challenging gameslike FTL and of course this game, but sometimes i like to play them with cheats (or trainers but i prefer not to use this ones) to try all the stuff that the game offers u.
It woulb be posible to add come cheatcodes or this would go against the devs metallity?

Yes there are 5 main cheats:

Activate them by entering Duty Roster, selecting any marine, then select Change Name. Change their name to that of the cheat code and click Confirm button. You should hear SOVA's voice which confirms the cheat has been activated.

The cheats are as follows:

ELITE: Converts the first 4 marines in your duty roster list to Elite rank. It also boosts their STR, BRV, DEX, ACC to 10.

WEAPON: Makes every safeteam ranged weapon in the game available from mission briefing screen. Note: Country supplied weapons will only remain available if you maintain loyal relations otherwise they will stop supply and you will have to wait for the country to offer again once the country becomes Loyal.

LOYAL: Turns every country loyal.

RESEARCH: Auto-completes all research projects as well as auto-builds one of each type of lab. Any lab currently present on your Ark will first be removed.

BASE: Auto-completes both key story events as well as adds the SAFE and SYNDICATE keycards to your vault. These key cards will grant you access to either of the two types of underground bases found only in Clear Outbreak mission zones.Chance of finding Syndicate bases depends on how long you have had a diplomat spying in the country.

Cheat engine works only on supply & research page, value type = Double

Search for SAFE Available Funds, WHEN ON R&D page flight deck 1. Then buy something put in new value and should only be 5-6 values just scan for new # after buying and then your all set. When you change value click on comms center after then go back to supply and research or else it will reset your funds to 0.
