Screen Resolution

Has anybody had issues with this only running on low resolutions? In game settings only allow a pretty low res, and I can't seem to open a full config file to change it there.

I have also resolution problems, no full HD ( 1920x1080 ) possible.

same problem: highest res 1920x1024 does not work; moreover, when I play in 1280 x 1024, the screen does not scroll by reaching screen borders with the mouse

the highest resolution for celtic kings is 1600x1200, i wonder if the developers would fixed this for laptop with higher resolution and graphic card

I had an issue with the full screen at first. But after 3 games, the full screen was on.

There is a file named data.pak in your game's folder. You can either make a backup of it or use the Verify Integrity of Game Files option to go back if you mess something up.

• Open data.pak with a text editor like Notepad or Notepad++;
  
• Use CTRL + F to search for Res3 or Res4;
  
• If your desktop resolution has 4 digits in both width and height (1600 x 1024 / 1600 x 1200 / 1920 x 1080 and so on), then replace the values of either Res3 or Res4 with the values of your desktop resolution. If the height of your resolution has 3 digits, then replace the values of either Res1 or Res2.

For example:
I needed the game to run in a 1920 x 1080 resolution, so I replaced the value of Res4_x with 1920 and the value of Res4_y with 1080. Worked like a charm.
Though the movies (the intro movie when you start the game and the intro movie when you start the adventure) still play in low resolution. And you might not even be able to see them, just hear the audio. So every time you start the game, it will switch to a low resolution until the intro movie ends or you skip it, then it will switch to your chosen resolution.

I've been having my own issues with the maps not generating extra neutral structures. The maps only generates 7 other structures controlled by my AI opponents but no extra neutral structures

Thx for your advice. But irs dont work to me :/ The game trys to start. But after short black screen iam back on desktop. So i have to play it srsly like in earlier days ^^'
