so sad to hear, but thank you very much
Hope you enjoy your time with it regardless!
thank you very much i feel the same too =)
It's a shame this game didn't do too well, because it's gameplay is really fun but the infantry just felt too weak to make much of a difference imo at least.
Also some of the missions were just an absolute slog to complete due to their mechanics. Like the mission Involving Tezla's troops which the AI kept spamming with no break and you had to reach a goal point to win near their spawn. Eventually I just stopped wanting to fight my way in, took everything I had and rushed it, which ended up working.
Then.. after Ursonia's DLC which felt really good, the Rusviet campaign left a bad taste in my mouth with the defense of the Tsar's mansion. (Or safehouse?)
Now it may be that I just played poorly, so it might not be the games fault. But there were just far too many enemies for me to actually win against (on normal nonetheless) so I ended up using my hero. I took her and played a game of cat and mouse, saving health pickups for when her health was low and picking off the revolutionaries one by one.
Some of these missions just seem like they cannot be beat the "intended" way, and I feel so bad for the people that didn't have other plans to beat them.
On the plus side though I discovered how to cheese enemy bases with the Rusviet hero so that's amazing lmao. Apparently the AI doesn't rebuild or repair its structures!
For sure, this game got me into scythe's board game. I like the idea they've done with mechs in 1914-1920s era. The factions are nice as well with the tie into our own timelines.
Wasn't aware it didn't do too well though however. I would like to see a continuation of it somehow.
