Anybody try blocking telemetry.deeparc.net?

Noticed the game connects to telemetry.deeparc.net, which is apparently[www.gameindustry.eu] Deep Silver's in-house telemetry.

Anybody try blocking it? Know if the game still works without it, or are we stuck with the telemetry if we want to play?

Haven't started blocking things, and I'm not sure how, but seeing stuff like this (undisclosed telemetry we can't opt out of, nevermind that it should be opt in) makes me want to learn.
