Finally the Kickstarter Goodies are here........

So today finally after over 2 years the kickstarter goodies arrived and omg i was completely disappointed. There is no Really Collectors Box, only a thin paper carton, the Mech Figurine is a MODEL KIT. I knew that it is unpainted that was not the problem for me. But a MODEL KIT for 200 dollars, really? Come on.... The Retail CE for around 100 Bucks i think had a painted assembled figurine. The Steelbook is a Future Pak with cheap quality. The Artbook and Posters are made out of the thinnest paper ive ever seen. The Bag is ok i think. The Only real good thing here are the Pins, these are very well made as you can see in the pictures. But the real Joke is the Postcard where the developers excuses the long wait for the goodies. I wasn't really expecting anything but compensation, but at least they could have given every backer the latest DLC for free. Yeah im feeling a little bit screwed i paid over 200 dollars for these items. What is your opinion?

i was disappointed too. it feels not really good after that long wait. a model kit was never told before, the artbook isnt really big like advertised and the posters arent usefull with this edges anymore

I'm fine with the figurine being a model kit, but I can understand why it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Also the box quality reminds me of the time when Bethesda tried giving people nylon trash bags to people instead of the canvas knapsacks they were promised

its kickstarter... its a "support" thing.. not a regular preorder ...its a "trust" thing..

..and cool stuff that you cant buy after the release, but you want, is another thing. its not only the game. you got "physicals" ^^ so what..

yeah thats the point. and now i dont trust king art games anymore. a lot of ♥♥♥♥ happened and not all of this is their fault but i payed a lot of money for stuff that i havent received as they announced it and there is no compensation for the lack of quality. oh yes the postcard i forgot sorry.

It was the first game I ever backed due to its promises. Sadly, the game itself disappointed me for a number of reasons. Mainly the mechs and guns not feeling powerful. In CoH a tank feels like a tank, here a mech feels doesn't feel like feared war machine.

So two weeks ago I got the goodies for a game I didn't like and regret backing and buying:

I think the bag and the medals are nice and of a good quality. Also the "steelcase"-physical game edition is nicely made and has a very nice print.
The weapons manual is complete garbage. I hoped for some info, backstory etc. but is is just a picture of the unit with mainly just one sentence written about attack and defence ability leaving a lot of the manual pages half-empty. It doesn't feel like much love was put into it which also reflects in the quality (simple spiral bound).

The biggest disappointment were the posters. They are very thin and folded int the middle. At the fold, the print is already gone or pealing away which makes them unusable. I got way better posters at gamescom for free.

So all in all I think the goodies (well not goodies, I payed for them) are quite like the game. Good concept & hype but all in all a disappointing when it comes to quality and execution. I'll not back a game again or buy collectors editions which is a good lesson I learned from this.

I haven't received my yet, but after seeing your results. Yeah it was not worth the wait and certainly not worth 200 USD.

It's probably too late for me to request for a refund. Oh well, I just won't ever buy anything from KingArt again.

thats not the point here. if the stuff would be good i would gladly pay that amount of money but it isnt and they made promises that are not fulfilled here. PLUS we waited about 2 years for this stuff. many people feel screwed for this.

I could easily see selling the model kit for the full price of the collectors edition. Especially because its metal, and well constructed, with its own scenic resin display base. I think its pretty quality actually from a person from that hobby group/interest group.

the metal parts have NO GOOD QUALITY! the didnt fit together 100% ... you need glue for them.. WTF

and they never told us, that is a KIT! it should be a complete finished statue.. not this DIY crap
