Some limitations of coop campaign play (non are that big a deal, more annoyances)
1) You cannot save in the middle of a mission. Most missions are 45 minutes or less, so it would never come up for me.
2) If you want the entire campaign experience, you will need to have everyone exit out of the party after each mission so that they can watch the cut scene before the next mission themselves (easily done from Campaign->Overview screen). I usually only played one mission at a time when I went through the campaign solo, so I don't see this as too big a deal, just something to know.
3) A couple of the missions from each campaign are a little light on units / no base building. So having 3 players may not be as engaging, but they are typically shorter missions anyway. Even low units (3 total, one for each player) was still fun for me coop, though.
Overall, I love the game and really enjoyed all the campaigns. I haven't had any problems as far as bugs go playing coop with 3 people total. We've played about 4 hours total. The interface works well, with grouping of units all locally significant to each player, ability to ping a spot on the map, and controls that work well to not get in each others way. If you like RTS games and want a real coop/team experience with shared everything, I would highly recommend it.
still lacks alot of maps for skirmish.
