Question about the end of the DLC(spoiler)
Ya, how the hell did the tsar die? Further more how did Rasputin know he died when none of his forces reached the radio tower. Did Rasputin teleport into the radio station and murder him single handily?

Further more why didn't his men check the radio station. To see if this was even true or not? Their is so many plot holes with the latest DLC that it kinda messes with the overall story.

Note, i was not a huge fan of the dlc as getting endless waves of mechs and infantry with a gimped pop cap of 70. IS very very freaking annoying. Making the last mission really not that fun.

It was implied that the Rasputin was inside the radio station, killed the Tzar and the transmitter his own message. My guess is that they didn’t check the radio station because they were expecting another wave already. But yeah, a little bit of a plot hole.

You don't really have a choice in the matter. this isn't a chose your own adventure type game. Its a single narrative story that you have to follow. So in short in the stories cannon he dies somehow.

either that or he dressed up like rasputin to reveal fenris to the world...

It's quite hilarious as a scene no matter how you look at it. The devs had a chance to tell an Alternative History tale where the Tsar lives, but instead they opted for an easy copout (wouldn't be the first time as far as their storytelling goes) where Rasputin appears out of nowhere, in a seemingly random place, with no actual explanation, only to shank Nikolai (thus making both revolutions in no way different from each other) and assume control of the nation in the worst twist possible. The only things that really changed from what happened in real life is the name of the movement and the leading figure. So much for alternative history approach, but what can you expect from a company whose last game was quite literally written for them by Markus Heitz?

Thinking on it, I am just going to go out on a limb and say that this entire thing was a red hearing. The Tsar is not dead, and that was not Rasputin. As this entire thing dose not fit the Mo of Fenris. Nor dose it fit the storytelling of this game.

Now, every major death in the franchise has been shown. Anna farther, The Kaiser, Heinrich Steinmetz and Lech Kos. All were shown in great detail how they died. Yet the tsar didn't even have a cut scene. Just a still image of the radio station with Rasputin declaring victory. Which is odd as no where else in the DLC do you find such a vague cut scene.

Now, you might be asking yourself why would the Tsar fake his own death? Well it is simple, Fenris is an organization that intends to rule the world not threw nation states but threw puppet governments.

Now you might be asking how would they do that? By destabling the major powers in Europa. They can force a change in government and put in power a puppet. As right now most governments in Europa are a form of monarchy. And changing them to a type of democracy will allow them control who gets elected.

This is why they need to continue the war. In order to destabilize the region to the point that the people are fed up with the monarchy. And demand a change to the government.

But with one of fenrises ring leaders taking charge of the largest nation in Europa. It has painted a massive target on Rasputin. As now all the issues the country is facing is now his fault. So the rebels will now call for Rasputin head unless he instantly fixes the country. And i highly doubt that he has the power to do that.

Long story short, The tsar is not dead and now everyone in Russia wants Rasputin head.
