Preach it, brother! I started a thread on ideas for maps in case we don't get a map editor.

In case we dont get a map editor the game is lost. COH is still playable because of custom maps, Warcraft III is still playable because of custom maps... Games live and stay alive with a community.

Sad but true,
the selection of available Maps is rather limited.
A map editor could fix this easily.

The devs have already been talking about modding tools as map editors and if the game stays relevant we can most likely count on getting one in the future.
It is something that is wished since a long time, but takes a lot of time and ressources to do, so I dont think it will happen in the next few weeks.

100%. Need a map editor and workshop support as quickly as they can add it.

I can't understand why a game like this can't at least randomly generate maps, if not an editor. There is not even a workshop. What a waste of potential. An additional faction would also be good and maps where everyone can be played against everyone, or where 4 teams can be selected, etc. Unfortunately, almost all of the maps are designed for 2 vs 2. It's completely strange why this game was allowed to die in such a limited way.
