False Advertisement! This is a scam!

All of this from their current steam store page:

There is NO COOP CAMPAIN in the release version. It simply doesnt exist.

"Command three diverse factions with over 40 unit types and 9 heroes with unique abilities. Setup skirmish and multiplayer matches any way you want. Configure your personal game interface and choose your favourite input controls. "

Its not possible to setup the skirmish and multiplayer matches differently as the option to change the hero or reserve mode is greyed out, not in the game!

"Competitive multiplayer with ladders, ranked matches & leagues. Choose from a vast selection of skirmish maps and challenge maps, available to play in singleplayer and coop. In addition expect regular free updates during the season, including new singleplayer challenges, multiplayer maps and more to look forward to."

There is 0!!! competitive multiplayer in the game as there is NO LADDER, NO RANKED MATCHES, NO LEAGUES. The vast selection of skirmish maps are: 3x 1v1 maps (the old beta maps), 2x 2v2 maps (the old beta maps) and 1x 3v3 map (the old beta map).

Also: "The Deluxe Edition includes a Mini Campaign and a big Add-on, granting access to all new adventures in the alternative reality of 1920+. Exact contents still to be determined, but expect hours of real time strategy and story-driven action of the highest quality!"

There is no big Add-on...

- They also already removed Japanese from languages as it was stated to support it, but indeed, did not. Other languages are only parially translated

- Store page also says "full controller support" while devs posted today that controller support is "still work in progress"

- hell, the current game version still mocks people by saying "welcome to open beta" ;D

Early Access sounds just about right.

edit: there is no mentioning of the addition of ranked games, leaderboards, coop campain or anything in the link you provided.

You need to talk about things like this ON STEAM, where you are selling your game. Where people are buying your game. You need to communicate everything on the Steam forums.

True, right now we do not have Steam achievements, maybe in the future. Instead we have in-game achievements that unlock special cosmetics for your player profile.

Thanks for truthfully acknowleding these things. Very fair.

Now they need to be removed from the Steam page where customers are lead to believe they are already ingame, which leads to obfuscation of fact that these are planned features, not ingame features people pay for.

I'm genuinely afraid that this game can end up like "World War 3", which is a good game, but it had a poor launch which generally killed it in its first few days.

The devs are probably not to blame, but this missleading and shady behaviour by a publisher should not be tolerated, no matter how small or indie the actual developer is.

You can't go gold on this game and advertise "Full Controller Support" on the store page if it isn't ready and implemented. Some people literally and physically depend on controller support for gaming, be it because of a disability or otherwise, and upon buying the game they would expect it to already be present if it is listed in the panel that shows specific features on the store page.

You should remove this immediately and put it in the description that it is coming soon.

You need to file a complaint with Steam about the inconsistency of the game with the declared one, let Steam remove the release and make the game "Early Access"

Actually, consumers and customers must report it right now and warn Steam there is a false advertisement on their platform. Hello Games (No Man Sky developer) got in a legal suit because of their lies in the advertisement campaign.

Although I doubt Steam would stand up to Deep Silver and defend the community. They get their dirty money and as long as the masses are paying, they will not lift their fat fingers. Anyone in civilized countries should take this case up to their legal entities to make sure this game and Steam do not violate the consumer rights by presenting an incomplete product advertised as complete.

Its sad that all we get from them is a simple, the content will be in the game in "2-3 weeks". However they said on discord previously that the stuff will be in the release version. The publisher is likely to blame for this terrible launch with a lot of content missing cause they wanted to go for the meme release date of 1.9.20 Iron Harvest 1920+

Quite the pity. I was looking forward to this game but the straight up misleading Steam page and woeful map count means it's a pass from me.

I mean a single 3 vs 3 map in a AAA priced title? Come on...
