Hmmm, interesting, so its not just me. Im more used to C&C style games, in Red Alert 2 i could beat the AI on the hardest. But looks like this one its more COH.

hello there, I did beat brutal on my first play though.

here some tips,

em units are specialised to kill certain units, this means you must use the right ones.

I think your main issue is not to use right units

-tip 1 use flame trower soldiers vs soldiers, they will melt enemy squads

-tip 2 retreat if units are damaged you can replace dead once in base

-tip 3 get mechs, mechs will crunch and crush your enemy
-tip 4 mechanics will repait them

-tip 5 dont forget to update eco

I would suggest you could start to play with Saxons/Germans
Polania is more specialized and is harder to play.

It might sound odd, but best unit is Stiefmutter/ Stepmother.
it does launch those explosion wheels and does shred anything quite decent.
once you have it AI should be easy to beat even on brutal

did need just 2 of those things to obliterate Ai.

dont forget for background Engineer, he will really fast repair your mechs.

all units can by the way retreat fast back to base, use it and replace dead soldiers in the squads, you can hve very fast them back on frontline.
